Places to Eat

The list is the places in the Santa Rosa Beach area where you can walk in, or book a table, and eat: restaurants, cafés and counters. We start from the state's food-service licences (the Department of Business and Professional Regulation), then check the list by hand, because a licence does not always say what a place is. Food trucks and caterers are left out: their licence address is where they are based, not where they serve.

Inspection badges show the state's latest inspection: Passed (no further action, or problems fixed on a re-check), Follow-up needed (a warning or a deadline not cleared yet) or Enforcement recommended. Our inspection history starts Jul 7, 2026, so a restaurant last inspected before then shows only the date of that visit. The state inspects most restaurants once or twice a year, so an older date is normal: it does not mean a place has closed or that anything is wrong, and seasonal places can go months between visits.

Local: at most three Florida licences under this name, all in this county. Chains (a filter): ten or more statewide. New licence: approved in the last 90 days, which can mean a new restaurant, a rebuilt kitchen or a new owner.
