County Attorney Adkinson recommended postponement pending state law effectiveness on July 1, 2026 (House Bill 243 and Senate Bill 382). Code Compliance and Engineering directed to hold public workshop with community stakeholders. Board directed Josh Ervin and Chance Powell to identify proposed speed limit for C.R. 30A bike path and recommend appropriate signage locations.

Commissioner Glidewell introduced item. County Attorney Adkinson reported summary judgments issued on more than 90 parcels; 3 property owners appealed after Senate Bill 1622 (2025) became law on June 24, 2025, and had their judgments vacated due to notice issues. Remaining summary judgments still valid and advertised on TDC beach map. Board directed Attorney Adkinson to draft resolution affirming public's beach-use rights and public beach access, identifying specific areas such as Dune Allen and private property owners who allow public beach use.
